API Vault is an Android application for storing and managing API credentials. Its core vault is local to your device. Optional features may contact the API provider you select, Google Play, or account/backup services when you explicitly use those features.
You are responsible for obtaining API credentials lawfully, complying with each provider's terms, controlling who can use your device, and revoking or rotating a credential if you believe it has been exposed. API Vault is a security tool; it cannot guarantee that an external API provider, a compromised device, or a credential you share elsewhere will remain secure.
When you ask API Vault to validate a credential, the app may make a request directly to the relevant provider. That request is governed by the provider's terms and privacy policy. Golden Physics Project does not control the provider's service, uptime, pricing or response.
No account is required for the local vault. If you enable an account or encrypted backup feature, you are responsible for keeping any backup passphrase or recovery information available to you. A client-side encrypted backup may be unrecoverable if you lose the information required to decrypt it.
Purchases and subscriptions distributed through Google Play are billed and managed by Google Play and are also subject to Google's terms. Available plans, prices and trial periods are the ones shown in the Play purchase flow at the time of purchase. Refunds and billing disputes are handled under the applicable Google Play rules and law.
You may not use API Vault to facilitate unlawful access, credential theft, fraud, abuse of an API provider, or any activity that violates applicable law or the terms of the service whose credential you store.
We aim to keep API Vault reliable and secure, but software can contain defects and third-party services can change. Features may be updated, replaced or discontinued when necessary for security, compatibility, legal compliance or product development. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to third-party services.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Golden Physics Project is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from third-party API outages, provider charges, lost credentials, a compromised device, or use of the app contrary to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Your use of API Vault is also governed by the API Vault Privacy Policy.
If these terms materially change, the current version will be published at this address with an updated effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
