Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to all apps and services published by Golden Physics Project, including Aurorum (com.aurorum.player), and the website at goldenphysics.org. It is operated by Daniel Toupin.

No Data Collection

Our apps do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data. Specifically:

• No account or sign-in is required
• No usage analytics or crash reporting is sent
• No advertising identifiers are accessed
• No location data is collected
• No contact information is requested
• No data is shared with any third parties

Local Storage Only

Aurorum stores your library metadata, playback preferences, and equalizer settings entirely on your device using Android's local storage (Room database and DataStore). This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Media Access

Aurorum requests permission to read audio files on your device (READ_MEDIA_AUDIO on Android 13+, or READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on older versions). This permission is used only to scan and play music files stored locally on your device. No files are uploaded or shared.

Notifications

Aurorum requests notification permission (POST_NOTIFICATIONS on Android 13+) solely to display a media playback notification with playback controls. No push notifications or marketing messages are sent.

No Ads

Our apps contain no advertising of any kind. No ad networks or tracking SDKs are included.

Children's Privacy

Our apps do not knowingly collect information from anyone. Since no data is collected at all, there is no special risk to children's privacy.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our privacy practices, this page will be updated with a new date. Significant changes will be noted in app release notes.
